DIY Fall Wreath
Today I’m sharing a fun craft that I’ve made before for the holidays, a cupcake liner wreath! But this time I decided to make a Fall Wreath using the same technique. I just think these wreaths are so easy to make and they always look great.
I am getting the house ready for Fall and one of the first area’s I wanted to decorate is my front entrance. This wreath really looks great there.
Supplies you’ll need for this project:
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam: Wreath (any size)
- Mini Cupcake Liners (about 400)
- Ribbon
- Straight Pins
Let’s get started!!
Instructions:
I scrunched up the liners and added a push pin in the center. Then I just inserted it into the foam wreath, working my way around the whole wreath.
I made sure to put the cupcake liners really really close the each other. I wanted the wreath to look completely full.
See how great it looks!! I was debating on how I wanted to finish the wreath. I added several different things but in the end, I felt it looked best just the way it was. The cupcake liners create a really fun texture.
I found some great ribbon to hang the wreath up. I wrapped the ribbon around the wreath and used a thumbtack to hang it in place on a wooden pallet on our wall.
This is a perfect wreath to keep up September through November! And you can create another one for the next season!
A clever take on a similar idea I’ve seen. Will try this one.
