DIY Fabric Wall Art
I don’t know about you, but I love finding fun ways to add color and pattern to my home decor. Today I am sharing how to make these cute DIY Fabric Wall Art Rounds. Not only are they easy to assemble, but they can be customized to fit any color palette or style.
Supplies needed to make this project:
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Discs: (2) 8″, (2) 10″ & (2) 12″
- (6) 1/2 yard Fabric Swatches – Variety of Coordinating Colors
- Scissors
- Low-Temp Glue Gun and Glue
Instructions:
You’ll start by laying out your fabric right side down. Place the disk on the back of the fabric.
Cut a loose circle around the foam disc with about 2-3″ inches overhanging.
Use scissors to make cuts in the fabric from the outer edges towards the inside leaving about 1/2″ of fabric before the disc. You want to make sure that you have it trimmed close enough so it won’t bunch, but you don’t want the sides of your disc exposed.
Once you have your fabric trimmed around the circle, start pulling each section tight against the back of the foam disc and secure with glue. Continue around until you have all the fabric securely wrapped around the foam. (If the fabric bunches, use glue to secure smoothly to the foam.)
When you are finished, you can easily hang these with command strips because they are so lightweight!
That’s it! Super easy, modern, budget friendly wall art. Not only am I loving these in our home, but they would make lovely wedding or party decor too!
