Modern Sequin Eggs

Easter is on its way and today I’ve got some cute Modern Sequin Eggs to share with you. I love decorating with pastels for spring, but sometimes it is fun to think outside the box with non-traditional colors. Adding in touches of black and gold captures that modern style in a fun way.

Supplies needed to make this project:

• FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam: Eggs – various sizes
• Gold Sequins: 8mm, 10mm
• Black Sequins: 8mm
• Gold Sequin Pins

Instructions:

There are so many ways to create sequin eggs and you can get really creative with lots of different patterns. For this modern touch I decided to do a variety of styles including solids, stripes, and even a fun curled pattern. You’ll begin by placing a sequin pin in the center of the sequin and press it gently through the foam.  Easy peasy!

Continue on with the pattern you selected until you finish off your eggs.  There are literally thousands of ways you can make these look unique and they all use the same technique!

This is seriously the most simple and basic craft you can do, but it can take a little time.   So, turn on your favorite Netflix binge and take some time creating your modern masterpieces!

Plus, if you don’t want to go bold with gold, you can stick to more traditional Spring colors.
