Patriotic Hydrangea Wreath

Patriotic Wreath

I can’t believe how quickly summer is going already!  Can you believe it’s already 4th of July weekend!! I love celebrating the 4th of July so I decided to make a cute and fun Patriotic Wreath for my front door this year!  It’s super easy to make for your last-minute party decorations and you can leave it up all summer!

Supplies needed to create this project:

  • FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam: 14″ Extruded Wreath Form
  • (3) Red Silk Hydrangeas (my red hydrangeas were smaller than my white and blue ones, so I ended up using 5 smaller red ones, but if you can find them all the same size that is better)
  • (3) White Silk Hydrangeas
  • (3) Blue Silk Hydrangeas
  • (2) American Flag Picks
  • Low-Temp Glue Gun and Glue
  • Wire Cutters

Instructions:

You will begin by cutting the hydrangeas into small clusters.  I used wire cutters to do this easily!

Then attach the hydrangea sections to your foam wreath.  I glued the hydrangeas in sections of red, white and blue to create a striped-like pattern.  You can make this pattern more random or clump it in larger sections or smaller sections.

The options of how you create your own pattern is truly up to you!

If you like you can add a couple of flags to your wreath as well!

This looks super cute hanging up inside or outside to celebrate any patriotic holiday or just to hang all summer long!
