Christmas Card Display
It’s holiday time and there is nothing we love more than receiving adorable cards in the mail from friends and family. If you are looking for a fun way to display those holiday cards, then I’ve got a fun and unique customizable Christmas Card Display to share with you today.
Supplies needed to make this project:
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam: Wreath (any size, I used 12″)
- Burlap and Lace Ribbon (or ribbon of choice)
- Floral Pins
- Scissors
- (2) Holiday Floral Stems
- 16 Gauge Wire
- Wire Cutters
- Needle-Nose Jewelry Pliers
- Low Temp Glue Gun & Glue
Instructions:
You’ll start by securing the ribbon to the wreath form with floral pins and then tightly wrapping the ribbon around your wreath to completely cover. Secure again at the end with another pin.
Insert floral stems into the center of the foam. I inserted the stems at an angle into the foam so they would be secure.
Now you’ll cut various lengths of wire between 10″-20″. You can use as many or as few as you like depending on the size of your wreath form. You can pull these straight but I preferred to leave them curly from the roll.
To create the card holders, you’ll take one end of the wire and using pliers you’ll twist the end of the wire upon itself several times. You’ll want to keep the spiral open though to be able to hold a card.
Gently stick the uncurled wires into the wreath form. Use glue if you want it to be extra secure.
Now you can insert your cards into the curled end of the wires.

My family take pictures of all grand children and new spouses looking at how each child has graven up over the years very special now adding great grand children about to run out of room on the stair case.
I saw this post and was inspired to make my own ribbon board because it looked to festive and simple. Sadly, it looked SO simple, I didn’t actually read all the steps and missed the one where you tape the bottom of each ribbon. Oops! My cards all slipped down through! Folded cards are fine – I just slide the folded half in and hang the top out. Flat cards were a challenge… luckily, I had a pack of teeny Christmas clothespins handy, so I was able to clip the flat cards on. It looks adorable, is functional, cuts the card clutter on the mantel, AND adds a pop of Christmas to a formerly blank surface. Thank you for the inspiration and Merry Christmas!
