Fall Pumpkin Ribbon Wreath
Fall is such a fun time of the year. I couldn’t be happier when the air starts getting cooler and we break out the jackets. Like most of you, I love to redecorate my home and pumpkins are a perfect way to start the fall season.
Here is how to create a gorgeous metallic layered wreath adorned with the perfect pop of foliage to welcome your guests this year.
Supplies needed to make this project:
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Wreath: 18 inch
- (1 yd) Brown Fabric
- (2 in x 50 yd) Brown Metallic Mesh Ribbon
- Fall Foliage Picks: Pine Cones, Fall Leaves
- Wood Floral Picks
- Medium Faux Pumpkin
- Rotary Cutter & Mat
- Low-Temp Glue Gun & Glue
Instructions:
Cut the brown fabric into 3 inch wide strips.
Wrap the strips around the foam wreath. Secure with glue as you work your way around. This will be your base for the ribbon.
Cut the mesh ribbon into 10 inch lengths.
Fold the ribbon in half and glue the fold to the outer edge of the wreath.
Repeat with the next row off center from the first working inward toward the center of the wreath.
Remove wire from the wood floral pick.
Insert the wood pick into the bottom of the faux pumpkin and glue it in place.
Insert your pumpkin on the wreath. Add wood floral picks to the pine cones by wrapping the wire around the top of the cone and use glue to secure the pick. Add the pine cones and other foliage to the wreath.
Hang your finished wreath on your door and enjoy!
The sparkles from the ribbon make it really pop in the sunlight. This fall wreath is the perfect addition to add to your outdoor décor this year.
Very pretty….
Are there three rows of folded ribbon?
I love this wreath
Hi Roni,
There are seven rows of folded ribbon going from the outer edge to the inner edge.
Best,
Kim
